This site was a short devel­op­ment Word­Press blog thrown up in lit­er­ally a day. The idea came when Nick Longo saw a site that every­one on Twit­ter thought truly blew (actu­ally two of them). I asked if he minded my steal­ing his idea to throw up a quick blog and he said go for it. Here it is.

Long and short, we’re about help­ing peo­ple with web design. The fastest way to con­vince some­one to change clothes is to pub­licly ridicule them. We feel that doing so with web­sites may do the same. Let us know what you think of our design, lan­guage and graph­ics. We prob­a­bly won’t change any of it, because, hey… We don’t think we’re too bad.

Being a Word­Press blog, the tem­plate is a mod­i­fied ver­sion of some­one else’s design (which is one of the strengths of Word­Press). It’s also the point of the blog to point out how easy it is to throw up a decent look­ing site in a day. Use Word­Press, Joomla, Dru­pal, ASP­Nuke or any of the other capa­ble Con­tent Man­age­ment Sys­tems (CMS), but for god’s sake, don’t try to rein­vent the wheel. If you don’t get it, well, the inter­nets don’t want you.
