Christian Dog Lovers and Kitsch
Kitsch is a fun word. I think it might be a Yiddish word, but whatever it’s origin, it describes this site perfectly. There’s something about dog people in general that makes them fail to see suck when they’re surrounded by it. Before the hate mail starts rolling in, I don’t mean all dog people but have you noticed that the Macintosh crowd is more likely to own a cat? I have dogs and cats, so maybe I get a pass…
The first thing one notices when visiting this site is, you can’t read ANYTHING! The text is stacked on the other text, the words leak onto other words, the images look like they were done in an early version of MS Paint… Oh, and there are butterflies… Flying… Everywhere…
The silliest thing I think I’ve ever seen is the dog in the middle of the page. An Afghan Hound (which isn’t the most attractive dog in the world) with wings stenciled on it, flapping. It’s actually mildly disturbing that someone spent time on that, and then decided, even after seeing the finished product, to publish it.
Remember the post about the ballroom dance supply store and political involvement? Here we go again… With a name like Hosanna1.com, the owners are religious. A quick glance around the page confirms it. So why are they against the government banning smoking? Shouldn’t they celebrate the government forcing a religious view on the world? Once again, if you want a political site, set one up. Dogs and politics don’t belong on the same page (Except the shaggy DA. He can stay).
Every link you follow is another unreadable mess with no end in site. I wonder where the site owner gets the stones to say “The most Beautiful Pages On The WWW” over on the right side. To quote Stewie, “Obviously madam, you and I differ greatly in our perception of beauty.”

good freaking lord Aaron, where do you constantly find these sites? you must have a sixth sense about the horrid!! LOL … good laugh, thanks
