Um… Yellow Much?
So, I was surfing around, looking for something other than the point of this post when I found the point of this post. Two words… Just awful. Clearly this is a nine-year-old kid’s idea of cool, but someone needs to tell him, “NO!” …and then, maybe rub his nose against his screen.
Yellow is not a good color for anything other than police tape, the gates at the parking garage and flowers (maybe lemons). This site is, I think, called Mew’s Webpage. I say “I think” because there is something purple (ish) in the middle of the page, and it looks like it’s bigger than the rest. I can only assume this is the page title.
So, we have the ugliest website in the world. What could possibly make it worse? Music. There are links to every krappy midi in the pokemon and neo-pet universe. The “designer” of this site decided to use the term “Neopets Cheats” so as to get loads of traffic, then subject the poor saps who happened along to midi music.
Well, at least there are no animated gifs… wait, yes there are. There is an unspoken rule in web suckery. If there aren’t any moving graphical monstrosities on the main page, there absolutely MUST be a huge collection of them on some subsequent page.
Let’s say you were curious as to the lyrics to the PokeRap (1 and 2) and the Team Rocket Motto. There’s a page for that. Unfortunately, you can’t read the lyrics due to the idiotic choice of colors, so you’ll just have to go on not knowing. There, there… We’ll have other opportunities
Long and short, idiots with a broken copy of FrontPage 4 who are obsessed with stupid Japanese games should NOT design websites.
Fin.

You do know that one of the S’s in RSS stands for “Simple,” right? It’s pretty easy, you either bookmark the feed or get your hands on one of the hundreds of free aggregators.
Good luck.
As a newbie, I am always searching online for articles that may help me like this. Thanks
I’m liking your blog! Once I work out how to use rss I will add your feed : )

Yeah… That’s a modified Lewis Black joke. He was talking about people who call telephone psychics…
